Job Posting: EDEP Activity Leader at Brooker Community Schools Afterschool Program

Are you passionate about inspiring and engaging young minds? Brooker Community Schools Afterschool Program is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an EDEP (Extended Day Enrichment Program) Activity Leader. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children in our community while gaining valuable experience in education and child development.


Position: EDEP Activity Leader

Location: Brooker Community School's Afterschool Program

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Rate: $15-$20 per hour


Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead engaging and age-appropriate activities for children in the afterschool program.

  • Create a safe and inclusive environment where children can learn and play.

  • Supervise and interact with children to encourage participation and foster positive relationships.

  • Assist with homework and provide academic support when needed.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and program coordinators.

  • Maintain a clean and organized activity space.


Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred.

  • Enthusiasm for working with children and helping them succeed.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Reliable and punctual.
