About the Event
We are delighted to announce our enthusiastic participation in Red Ribbon Week, a nationwide initiative promoting drug and alcohol awareness and prevention. From October 23rd to October 27th, Brooker Community School will be immersed in a week-long series of events and activities designed to educate our students about the importance of making healthy choices. To enhance the excitement, we have organized special "Dress Up Days" throughout the week, encouraging students to join in and express their support for a drug-free future.
Dress Up Days Schedule:
Monday, October 23rd: "Red Out Day: We Are Drug-Free, We Are Proud" Wear red from head to toe to demonstrate your commitment to a drug-free lifestyle. Let's start the week by painting the school RED and standing proud as a community that says no to drugs!
Tuesday, October 24th: "Sock it to Drugs" Wear your craziest, most colorful socks to stomp out drugs. Let's sock it to drugs and show that we're loud and proud about being drug-free!
Wednesday, October 25th: "Camo Day: Drugs Can't Find Me" Dress in camouflage patterns to show that we're hiding from drugs and they can't find us! Let's unite in our efforts to create a safe, drug-free environment.
Thursday, October 26th: "Neon Day: Too Bright for Drugs" Dress up in vibrant neon colors to shine bright and stand out against drugs. Let's light up the school with our positivity and enthusiasm for a drug-free life!
Friday, October 27th: "Team Up Against Drugs" Wear your favorite sports jersey or team colors to show that we are united against drugs and bullying. Team up for a drug-free life!
Throughout Red Ribbon Week, our school will host informative assemblies, classroom discussions, and engaging activities centered around the theme of drug and alcohol prevention. We encourage parents and guardians to reinforce these discussions at home, emphasizing the importance of making positive choices and leading a healthy, drug-free life.
Let's unite as a community and create an environment where our children feel empowered to say no to drugs and embrace a future filled with bright possibilities. Thank you for your active participation and dedication to keeping our school community safe and drug-free.
